Learn To Move On

Question: Are you working in private hospitals  May be I can refer cases to you? Reply: Lai, I retired last year  I decided to use my time to fulfill childhood dreams of travelling ,hiking, diving, and many other activities that I loved.  But during work life, I didn't had the time. During that phase I was fully focused to give what I am best as a surgeon to the patients.  Now I kept that past of surgeon in a locker and moved on to live the life which I like that is an adventurer.  As I got another 9 years of active life to do that by the time I reach 70 years old if God permits. As such I don't want to do what I had been doing for the past 40 years. Now I call myself an adventurer rather than a doctor. So, to say I am drifted far away from the medical field n surgery.  Thank you for still having full belief in my surgicalexpertise. πŸ™‡πŸ½‍♂️πŸ™πŸ½πŸŒΉ

"Jane Goodall 90, chatting with Clint Eastwood 93" & My Take In It

American actor Clint Eastwood, 95, recently delivered a heartfelt speech, saying, "Growing old can be pretty scary, right? You find yourself witnessing everything around you. Your bones don’t move as easily, your eyes feel weary from the light, and your lungs often crave a break from that exhausting breath. But what’s even scarier and more exhausting is reaching ninety and realizing there’s no one you love nearby, listening with a hint of disinterest to your tales filled with imagined heroics. You know they may not care, but you still take joy, like a grandfather, in sharing what you think matters with your grandkids.  It’s frightening to be alone when everyone used to seek you out, and after a lifetime of chasing the light, you end up without a family, living in darkness when you really needed someone to guide you toward the light! So, make it a priority to build a family. Chasing fame is like chasing ashes blown away by the wind; it neither ignites a fire nor stays put." M...

Dr ... one advise I need. How do you detach from your pet?

I love them a lot.  Even more than me. But  I accept their living in this earth is much much shorter than us. Which I got ,no control over it. I show them whatever unconditional love which I can ,in return to theirs. When they depart from me. I learn to accept the detachment physically. But I attach dearly to it in soul that it is with me always. As understand, this world is a temporary and illusive world. The Real World is the experience and moments which we cherish and carry along.πŸ™‡πŸ½‍♂️πŸ™πŸ½πŸŒΉ

And there can be no higher purpose than to establish oneself in Dhamma, in the path which leads one out of defilements, out of the illusion of self, to the final goal of ultimate truth. Therefore, no effort is more worthwhile for a human being than the exertion of all one's faculties to take steps on this path." 8.We lose our balance, not be...
