‘’We are not we are,
As we metamorphose with age,
However what keep us close is the soul within us which can recognise.
Thus when we meet with friends after many years.
Actually that person we met we can’t recognise
But our mind brings the image we are familiar(old one) and registered to the vision of current n recognises the current person to it.
So ur mind trick us to register that person is this person; and you continue your relation or ur conversation.
To simplify your understanding
The soul is the same but the body is different.However your mind make the body one with the soul.’’
* Suppose you meet today an old friend whom you have not seen for more than two decades.Biologists tell us that there is probably not a single cell in either of you that there when you last met.
Yet you have no trouble recognising each other and recalling matters which interested you both when you last met.
This is possible only because each dying cell is so faithfully replaced by a like cell.
*As a person puts on new clothes by giving up the old ones.
The soul similarly accepts new material bodies by giving up the old used ones.
As the soul moves along the phase of time.
True that we cannot remember some people. As for me, I'm bad with names, as I have hundreds of them per year. But through it all, I will remember the deeds that have fossilised themselves in my soul. Though I may forget faces and names, part of me shall always remember the good things about my friends. Those memories keep our friendship alive even when we grow old and senile, similar deeds will trigger that memory and then suddenly a story would be told starting with, "I remember once upon a time, I had a friend who..."
ReplyDeletePerple fades, faces blurred but deeds are forever remembered and treasured. That's what friends are there to remind us of how blessed we are to still have each other.
