Simple Life Of Elderly In Malaysia

Mr lazim a 81 year old man was born here in mainland penang with 3 other siblings. He being the third child. He has one other sibling remaining whom he still keeps in contact. He has been living in penang for his whole life. 

He met his wife at the age of 17 via an arranged marriage by his parents and has been happily married ever since and blessed with 3 daughters who are all living in KL. 

Eldest daughter age 60 (hse wife) 

Second daughter age 56 (pensioner previously worked as a clerk in a gov office) 

Youngest daughter a housewife

All his children are married and he is bless with more than 20 grandchildren. Who visits twice a year. (during raya and haji) 

He was previously a Taxi driver. And has been working around Malaysia (every state) but his favourite state would be KL because he loves the bustling city life and the amount of customers he gets. He loves his job mainly due to the opportunity of meeting new people. He currently still brings his taxi occasionally. But mainly goes to his family paddy field during his free time. (with 3 buffalo's ploughing the field)

His daily routine consists of waking up at 6am and sending his wife to work (cleaner at an office), goes to the local coffee shop and order a glass of nescafe and wait for his wife to get off at 11am. He then picks her up, head to the mosque for prayers and have lunch with her at the local shop outside his house. They then head over to their paddy field after lunch to oversee the workers and goes home around 4pm. His wife would prepare dinner at home which he claims his wife's ikan kembong curry being his favourite.

He enjoys travelling as well.

He has been to Thailand, Saudi arabia, and Singapore. But his favourite country would be Saudi Arabia mainly to visit mecca which he has done so at least 25 times (almost once a year and his last visit is prior to the covid pandemic)

He previously visited Thailand during his younger years when he was working in kelantan. He would travel once every week for muay Thai classes back when he was younger (around age of 25-30).

He also claimed he is very skillful in football and has been playing since childhood. (favourite sport) although he has stopped playing, he still watches football occasionally.
