1. Never eat if u can’t toil.
Never operate if u didn’t put enough work
on the patient.ππ½
2. There is nothing early or late!
As birth or death is a process of starting and ending.
Every individuals have to go through.
Only the journey of life of each individual may vary.ππΌ
3. What is the difference between the HO , Surgical Officer , Specialists and Consultant?
A HO does everything wrong but he/she thinks done everything right.
A Surgical Officer does know he/ she has done wrong
but won’t know how to correct it.
A Specialist does know he/she has done wrong
but know how to correct it.
A Consultant try not to do mistakes.
4. Knowledge wisely used benefits the patients.
Knowledge overused harms the patients.
Knowledge underused kills the patients.
5. Old Surgeons depend more on clinical assessment.
New Surgeons depend on technology to help in diagnosis. ππ½
6. Old Surgeons operate with naked eye vision.
New Surgeons operate with technological eye
to assist in surgery.
7. When I hear, I forget.
When I see, I remember.
When I do, I know.
8. Reading and not going to clinic,
Is like having a boat but not sailing.
Reading and going to clinic,
Is like having a boat and enjoying the sailing.
9. The scalpel u holding today.
It was belonging to some one else yesterday.
It will belong to some one else tomorrow.
So be humble and caring towards your patients and your working colleagues.
10. Fine surgeons are created like the saying ‘The constant beating of heated gold brings the best shape and the shine.’
11.The qualities of good surgeon are able to take criticism in positive note, trying to keep up to the challenges and most importantly developing thick skin to achieve the dream.
We need the old, and the new.
