Life's Lesson - Destination is valueless, once the journey is completed
The other day me , my niece and grand-niece decided to go for a hike at a nearby hill.
As such, we planned a week ago our destiny to reach the peak of the hill near the telecom tower at a fencing behind it.
My grand-niece was very excited about the destiny without giving much consideration to the journey.
My niece and I decided to hike a trek, which is a challenging trek to the destiny.
So we decided the trek duration must be a round 5 hours, not well-throdden, and must be a shady route from the emitting heat of the sun.
However, on the day of hiking ,we couldn't start in time because the other hiker ,who is familiar with the trek, was unable to come.
So we decided to ascend by ourselves. The trek we planned to hike was missing at certain sections from fallen trees and plants due to rain a few days back.
Besides, the path was muddy and slippery in certain paths of our route. It was also very hot because there was no shade due to fallen trees exposing the path to 12 noon sun, and we sweated profusely.
Somehow, we persisted and persevered in our journey to destiny with all the obstacles we faced along the way.
Finally, after more than 5 hours after overcoming the obstacles along our stride, we reached our destiny, and we sat to rest before descending.
My grand-niece said if this is the destiny, it is valueless!
The life's lesson learned here is that destiny doesn't have the worth as we assume at the beginning because the journey taught us the priceless value, as we endeavour the journey that the destiny vanishes in the process.
It is like the proverb, finding the needle in the haystack.Once discovered ,it losses it's lustre.
Most of us appreciate the destiny without giving importance to the priceless life lessons taught by the journey.
Well said, journey more valuable than the destiny.Often we overlook this
