Life Lesson From Scuba Diving
As I was diving this time around at Surin islands at Thailand.I realised diving teaches us to lead our life journey.
At the beginning of diving,we need to jump into the ocean,as in human life ,we come out of the womb.
Then we submerge to the depth of ocean with excitation and full of energy to see the flora and fauna of sea,the wonderful terrain of underwater and the push and pull of the current of ocean. As in life a child growing into adulthood.
There is lot to see and experience and have fun.
Then time, energy and air saps out from the diver and the diver need to ascend to lower depth towards the surface of sea.As human life we cross manhood to elderly.
As at this stage,we can only see the depth of ocean with renewed activities and new divers down at the depth of ocean and we can't go down due risk of decompress sickness.Similar situations happens to human life journey too,as
As I was diving this time at Surin islands in Thailand, I realised that diving teaches us how to lead our life's journey.
At the start of diving,we need to jump into the ocean, similar to human life, where we come out of the womb.
Then, we submerge to the depth of the ocean with excitation and full of energy to see the flora and founa of sea and the wonderful terrain of the sea bed enjoying the push and pull of the underwater current. This is Akin to a child growing into adulthood with lots to see and experience and have fun.
As time passes by,energy and air saps out from the diver and the diver needs to ascend to a lower depth closer to the sea surface. Similarly, as we cross manhood to the elderly phase, we can only see the depth of ocean with renewed activities. We can see the new divers down at the depth of ocean yet we can't go down due risk of decompression sickness.
We face similar situations in our human life journey too,as time passes,we can't retrieve the time, physic or age, other than the experience and age gained.
The final stage of scuba diving is to resurface once time is up, energy is sapped and no air left. In human life, when the time is up and age has caught up with a fragile body, eventually it's time to leave this beautiful earth and the dive becomes completed.
Lesson to be learnt, never hang around too long in any stage of life or depth of the sea as there is no returning back to that level of depth or stage of life. So make use of your life and time wisely before u get caught up in the rapid current of life/dive.
Awsome..nature teache's life lesson as we explore them...thanks my soul son
ReplyDeleteA beautifully written reflection. Your diving journey mirrors life’s stages so thoughtfully, reminding us to embrace every depth, every moment, and use our time wisely Dr
