 Success is a bad teacher Failure is a good teacher. That is why the saying Failure is stepping stone to success. As success ends the progress but failure takes to next stage. Success never gives  one  to reflect on  the journey. Failure gives one to reflect on the journey. Success creates a weak personality.  Failure creates a strong personality. A mindful n kind full person is who have failed and got up many times. Finally success or failure is a good teacher to build a strong and helpful CHARACTER. I failed 10x in PG exam before I succeeded which made me a holistic and helpful doctor in me. Each failure of mine , I take it as a challenge, work on my weaknesses to achieve my fineness to be a holistic professional rather than be a successful person .

I was a carefree kid with no interest to study and was very playful. I was the 15th child amongst the sixteen children to my elderly parents. They pampered me and my younger brother since we were the tiny torts and the rest of my siblings were grownups and too fearful of dad, to the extent that they had to keep a distance from him. Well, coming to my pious journey, I used to follow my mom to church every Sunday for two reasons. Firstly, I get to eat a good breakfast after the mass while my mom does the morning marketing. Secondly, I was very poor in my studies till I was not able to recite alphabets and timetables even till I was 12 years old. My mom said if I prayed hard and ask for infinite intervention, I may be able to do it one day. I trusted my mom’s words as word from God that every day and every time I was at the place of worship. I prayed sincerely for the ability to read and write coherently to avoid being the laughingstock of my classmates and my younger cousins True enough,...

1. Never eat if u can’t toil.    Never operate if  u didn’t put enough work        on the patient .🙇🏽 2. There is nothing early or late!  As birth or death is a process of starting and ending. Every individuals  have to go through. Only the journey of life of each individual may vary. 🙏🏼 3. What is the difference between the HO , Surgical Officer , Specialists and Consultant? A HO does everything wrong but he/she thinks done everything right. A Surgical Officer does know he/ she has done wrong  but won’t know how to correct it. A Specialist does know he/she has done wrong  but know how to correct it. A Consultant try not to do mistakes. 4. Knowledge wisely used benefits the patients.    Knowledge overused  harms the patients.   Knowledge underused kills the patients.  5.  Old Surgeons depend more on clinical assessment.  New Surgeons depend on technology to help in diagnosis. 🙇🏽 6. Around 30 years ago,I walked into the Surgical Department of Penang General Hospital(Pggh) as a young enthusiastic doctor with a dream of becoming a surgeon in the future. I was posted to  the Urology Unit as a new surgical officer as it was a newly established unit in Pggh.However, I was still adamant to join the General Surgical Department to get a wider training in the surgical field. At that time, it was very difficult to get into General surgery, so I decided to  approach the Head Of Department Mr.Ismail to recruit me. Unfortunately, it was a herculean task to get an appointment with Mr.Ismail.
